Mt Pleasant Tennis Club is a small, friendly Christchurch club that is affiliated to Tennis Canterbury Region.
The club is situated in a long disused quarry site that is now Kings Park overlooking the Ihutai Estuary.
The club has groups at all levels from young juniors to the ‘Gold Card’ brigade playing casual, social, organised and interclub games. Membership is currently at 45 seniors and 40 juniors with new members always welcome. To check out the club and the members, either contact a committee member or come to an organised club day.
The 4 courts are of Rebound Ace Synpave surface of which 2 are open to the public and two are only available to full members.
Payment for the public courts is $10 per adult per session or $20 per court, children can play for free. Pay directly into the club's Westpac Account 03-1599-0123801-000.
The Club has an AED device.

SENIORS CLUB DAYS
TUESDAY: Men's tennis from 3.30pm
THURSDAY: Tennis from 3.30pm.
SATURDAY: Senior Club Tennis 1.30pm – 5.00pm (all courts)
JUNIORS
LOVE TENNIS & HOT SHOTS: For a fun morning with an introduction to all levels of tennis, Hotshots will recommence on Saturday, 19 October. The date for LOVE TENNIS is still to be decided by Canty Tennis and will be advertised later. See the above photo of the previous year's event.

The lower access to the courts is from Main Road via Quarry Road or from above via St Andrews Hill or Seamount Terrace down Rangatira Terrace.
